Terms of Service
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to TitleBee (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at titlebee.com and its headline and copywriting tools, articles, and other content (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What TitleBee Is
TitleBee provides free, browser-based tools for writing and measuring headlines, titles, and copy — a headline pixel counter, meta description checker, headline analyzer, title case converter, readability calculator, and email subject-line checker — along with guides and a reference museum. The tools are informational aids for writers, editors, and marketers.
Results Are Estimates, Not Guarantees
This is the most important thing to understand about the Service. Our tools apply published, widely-used conventions: approximate pixel widths for Google’s title and snippet rendering, standard readability formulas such as Flesch reading ease, common style rules for capitalisation, and curated lists of power words and spam-trigger words. These conventions are approximations, and search engines and email providers do not publish exact rules and change their behaviour over time. Accordingly:
- A “good” result does not guarantee that a title will rank, that a snippet will display in full, that a headline will get clicks, or that an email will reach the inbox.
- Pixel widths, readability scores, and headline scores are estimates that may differ from what a given device, browser, or platform actually does.
- You should preview important titles and descriptions in a live search result, and test email subject lines with your own audience, before relying on them.
The Service is not professional SEO, marketing, legal, or business advice. Use your own judgment.
Acceptable Use
Using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose or to produce unlawful content;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site;
- Scrape or hit the site with automated systems in a way that degrades it for others;
- Infringe our intellectual property or that of others.
Intellectual Property
The site’s design, tool code, and original text are the property of TitleBee. Museum and learn entries are drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons and remain under their respective public-domain or Creative Commons licenses. You are welcome to use the tools’ output — your own headlines and copy are yours.
No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchant- ability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools are error-free, that their estimates are accurate for your specific case, or that the site will always be available.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TitleBee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost traffic, lost clicks, lost revenue, or other losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its estimates.
Third-Party Links & Ads
The Service contains advertising and may link to third-party sites and products. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties, and a link or ad is not an endorsement.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date below.
